CLASIMÁNTICO

Clasimántico es un repertorio muy especial de destacados compositores y diversos movimientos culturales, estéticos e intelectuales con un fuerte peso histórico: desde el registro íntimo y ornamentado del “hijo londinense” de Bach hasta la incorporación de elementos folclóricos inscritos en el Postromanticismo de Dvořák. Esta selección de música se ofrece como una potente muestra sonora de la evolución de la música occidental, desde el Clasicismo al Romanticismo, elaborada para la formación compuesta por violín, viola, violonchelo y oboe/corno inglés. En ella se incluyen por un lado, piezas de originales para la formación del cuarteto de cuerdas con oboe, y por otro, música adaptada de forma inédita para la formación de corno inglés y cuerdas grabadas por primera vez.

Classimántico is a very special repertoire of outstanding composers from various cultural, aesthetic and intellectual movements with a strong historical weight: from the intimate and ornate record of Bach's “London son" to the incorporation of folklore elements inscribed in Dvořák´s Post-Romanticism. This selection of music is offered as a powerful sound sample of the evolution of western music, from Classicism to Romanticism, elaborated for the formation composed by violin, viola, cello and oboe/english horn. It includes, on the one hand, original pieces for the formation of the string quartet with oboe, and on the other, music adapted in an unpublished way for the formation of English horn and strings recorded for the first time.
